We choose our personnel on merit and train them under a strict physical and mental fitness regime that makes them tough, quick and brave of all.

The selected manpower is imparted special training by a team of intelligence qualified instructors having expertise in weapons handling; firing, anti-terrorism, anti-dacoit, counter sabotage techniques, surveillance and detecting devices, bomb disposal, fire fighting, use of communication equipment and method of register maintenance before they are deployed to a client.

The training is further imparted according to the actual requirement of the client.

This division works in close alignment with multiple division of Monarch with an objective of recruiting training and delivering suitable manpower to meet their requirements. R&T has a standardized recruitment process with stringent norms for ex serviceman & civilians where an antecedent verification is mandatory. A direct recruitment is done at five levels - Guards, Supervisors, Security Inspector, Assistant Security Officers and Management Trainees.

Monarch maintains a recruitment center and a training academy. Apart from training academy that is modeled on line of police training school, the company also has training center developed on lines of urban non residential training. All training facilities provide multiple courses for civil/ex-servicemen.

Apart from the five levels mentioned above Monarch R&T also trains personnel for Dog Squad and Special Squad (Unarmed Combat Experts). The training staff has the capability to design and conduct "customized training" at customer site.

The preliminary selection of candidates interested in joining Monarch is conducted at the recruitment center. The screening process involves review of academic qualification and physical quality requirement (QR) in line with the company’s recruitment policy.

Once selected at the recruitment center, the prospective candidates reach the academy where verification of antecedents, medical examination, re-checking of QR and verification of all documents is conducted. Selected candidates are taken into the academy for a four-week fully residential training program.

Qualified instructors, following the specially designed modules, that are continuously validated and updated, conduct training. The training includes both physical and theoretical sessions. There is a periodic evaluation during the entire training period.

At the end of the training program there is a qualifying criterion and those who fulfill the same are qualified for deployment through to a passing out. The centralized R&T cell at the corporate office distributes the qualified candidates of all academies to different branches as per the business requirements projected by the branches on monthly basis.

For the next six months, R&T cell monitors the performance; retention, desertion and other pre-specified parameter of the deployed guards and the data is analyzed by management during business review exercise.
